I am sooo mad I could spit. Not at the boys (they battled hard). Not even at Breezy for sucking. I am mad and disappointed at Wayne and Co. There is no way in hockey heaven that Telly should not have been starting that game…except poor decision making. Well that and inconsistency. How can the boys believe a word that man says after tonight?

Did he not say the roster that wins starts the next game? Did he not keep KT out of the VAN game (the first time we played in KT’s home town)simply because of this stated rule? Serious error in judgement. Coulda jump started KT into the stratosphere. Soooo, Telly has been kicking ass and not bothering with the names for 3 straight games and he gets the hook for SJS game? WTF? Apparently that lil rule doesn’t apply to every body kinda like the JoVo rules are different.

What happened Wayne? Were you getting nervous that your backup goalie, your underpaid, under used, under recognised goalkeeper was workin the shit out yo 4 million dollar superstar? Everyone is jumping Breezy’s case this mornin. He isn’t totallly at fault… TPTB should have their asses kicked for this one. Your big boy is havin a really bad patch…recognise. Bring him back for the Kings game (ONLY if Telly had lost this one)…ease him back into the net. Work his ass like a government mule in practices. Have both goalie coaches work him (hell between Burke and Fuhr something should click, right?) But don’t throw him out there in the pressure cooker that is a Sharks-on-a-streak game….not when Mikael the-force-is-with-me Tellqvist is this hot. Are you afraid to challenge Bryz w/ a goalie tandem situation? If Breezy can’t handle the heat, he shouldn’t have stepped into the kitchen. And since when is a lil competition not healthy? Bryz gets his net back when he earns it, not because he’s the perceived #1 and not until Telly loses…Its as simple as that.

Is this the year? The year of the Swedish Wolf? Could be, but we’ll probably never know if Gretzky and Co keep doin the man crush on Breezy. OH WAIT! We’ll know, when Telly doen’t resign with us, moves on to a division rival and becomes their #1 guy and whips our asses 6 times per season…Yeah yeah, Breezy’s our number one guy. yeah yeah without Bryz we woulda sucked even worse than we already usually do. But this doesn’t guarantee him a damn thing. He’s got to work to earn his ice time just like everyone else. You suck? You don’t play…Its as simple as that.

So who’s fault is it? ummm maybe we should look even deeper… maybe the goalie coaching IS the problem? We’ve had some pretty decent talent come in here w/ good skills and reputations…over a period of time they start to suck… they get dumped and go on to other teams to be adequate if not down right good. Just something to think about while I’m already feelin pissy, why not spread the wealth of blame, there’s plenty to go around…

Get your head out Wayne…seriously, own your error, don’t bother callin Byz out in the press.
