Never! Ever! put Jovanovski and Hale on a line together! They should not even be next to each other in the locker room. My God, that continues to be the ugliest pairing since

ugly-men by you.

The royals set us on our heels hard in the first period, down by 1 on a tragedy of errors. Telly stops the puck behind the net and hands the puck off to Hale (who fumbled it along the boards), Hale gets too much pressure and backhands it out to center where it bounces off Jovo’s skate and into the net as Frolov comes in for the kill. Either way it was goin in most likely but just damn. TALK to each other buckos… we get in more trouble behind our own net than any other team I’ve ever seen. Frolov gets the credit for Hale’s blunder goal. 1-0 Kings

So Jovo redeems himself with a beaut about a minute and a half later, a laser shot that Doan tips a wee bit, either way that puppy was goin in too. Tie game. The Kings showed a lot of hustle, poise and tenacity but can’t get anything else past Telly. The second was a bit of a pong game. We couldn’t give pass, catch a pass, make it through the neutral nor apparently stop the Kings from entering the zone. Oscar ‘the Grouch’ Moller ruins the second period with a PP goal around the half way mark and we continue to fumble like a pack of puppies. 2-1 Kings

IDk what the hell was said in the locker room during the second intermission but the boys came out like the family jewels were in danger. 4 minutes in, Porter Yandle Lisin for one sweet offspeed goal. Then 4 minutes after that, DMo lined Lisin up for the best goal of the season. Tape to tape on a speeding Lisin’s stick, the kid got low and blew the King’s tailing defenseman off like pixie dust. Roofed a rocket past Ersie and made it look like taking candy from a baby. We got the lead and never looked back. 3-2 Yotes

The Kings tried to make a game of it but we had the fever.Hits were bein thrown like a WWF Smackdown marathon. Carcillo hit Harrold so hard his chiropractor started adding up the bill for the damage in advance. Physical, tenacious and on occasion downright mean as hell. Ivo the terrible tried to knock DMo unconcious on the boards and ended up on his ass. He and Armstrong both tried to get the Demolition Man to throw (assclowns! as if DMo would jeapordise a one goal game… not to mention the hand injury). There was a scrum that nearly got out of control (even Z jumped in that one). Last ditch effort, the Kings pull Ersberg and Hungry Hanzal plopped the empty netter home to seal the deal. CHALUPA!!! thanx Hanzal (we have gotten more chalupas off Marty’s nose for an empty net this season)… I like it. 4 -2 Yotes…Final

IDK what was said and I don’t care. We woke up and stopped playing like pale imitations of ourselves. It was beautimous.

When Joker gets back, who goes down? Not Enver ‘Fievel’ Lisin. The kid is playin like he owns the NHL. Should be interesting to see what happens cuz the only totally useless cog we have on the forward line up is MacGrattan right now. Sure some guys are a bit quiet but on any given night somebody different explodes.

How much longer does Hale get to figure out how to play defense? Seriously, every time I try to give the guy a break something bad happens. He is the yentle of 08. I’d rather see Ahnelov given a go (even if he sucks at least it’ll be rookie mistakes, not because he can’t play D). **we can’t bring Logan Stephenson up for a look because we traded him to ANA for Lindstrom**

Ah well, Klee will be in for the TOR game and Telly gets the start against his old team. Tellynator do NOT get too jazzed big boy. You are on a serious roll. Don’t screw it up by thinkin too hard. WG seems to get it finally. Lets hope he doesn’t try the Hale experiment again for awhile. So until Telly blows chunks (or most likely until we go on the road) the Wolf will be in net.

Very nice game!

Don’t forget to check out Odie’s post game take!
